The drama is adapted from the webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a formal defense romantic comedy between Shin Yoon-bok (Kim Myung-soo), a male student who was born in Seongsan Village and was influenced by Confucianism since childhood, and Kim Hong-do (Lee Yoo-young), a modern female teacher who only knows how to take the initiative. Kim Myung-soo plays Shin Yoon-bok, who has a high status and heavy responsibilities in his family. He is very strict with himself and is a noble scholar who does not treat anyone casually. Lee Yoo-young plays Kim Hong-do, who works hard in the fiercely competitive design industry. Because she has nothing and no background, she is often ignored, but she is a straight-forward woman who does not give up her dream of becoming a designer.
