Introduction
"The Star" is just a working code name, not the official title of the film. The film was originally called "The Lamb" and was directed by Timothy Reckart, the director of the Oscar-nominated animated short "Head Over Heels". It tells the story of the birth of Jesus from the perspective of a brave little donkey and his animal friends. The Jim Henson Company, famous for the Muppet Movie, will produce the film together with Sony Animation.
