This building in the center of Taipei has been the site of more than 20 murders in more than 30 years, making the house price much cheaper than other surrounding buildings. The "roasted pork dumplings incident" that has become an urban legend, in which a woman committed suicide by jumping off a building due to relationship problems but accidentally crushed a vendor selling roasted pork dumplings downstairs, also happened in this building, making its reputation for horror spread like wildfire and becoming one of Taiwan's most haunted houses.
