Three women across time and space are connected by a name - Mrs. Dalloway. Virginia Woolf (Nicole Kidman) lives in the suburbs of London in the 1920s and is completing her last novel, Mrs. Dalloway. Wandering on the edge of fiction and real life, she is under tremendous pressure and a sense of being bound, and even longs for death in her heart. Laura Brown (Julianne Moore) is a housewife living in Los Angeles at the end of World War II. Mrs. Dalloway caused her to constantly ask herself what is a more meaningful life? The day-to-day housekeeping life also gave her the desire to commit suicide. Clarissa Vaughan (Meryl Streep) lives in New York in the 1990s and is living a Mrs. Dalloway-style life. Her beloved friend Richard is talented but can't take care of himself because of AIDS. The kind-hearted Mrs. Dalloway takes on the role of host of the party, bringing happiness to everyone, but it is difficult to resolve the loneliness and sadness in her heart. In different times and spaces, deep in their hearts, the struggle and fight against death never stops, at all times.
