David (Luke Wilson) and Amy (Kate Beckinsale) are a couple who have just experienced the pain of losing their child. In order to commemorate their impending marriage, the two drove in the dark night for their final breakup trip. To take a shortcut, David turned into a deserted road, but the car broke down soon after driving. A young man who was still awake at midnight appeared to help them, but the problem was not solved. David and Amy had to walk to a motel to rest. The hotel was empty, and a creepy scream came from the duty room. The attendant turned off the TV recording and arranged the two in a corner room. The room facilities were old and dirty. When David looked through the videotapes left in the TV cabinet, he found that the content was full of extremely realistic bloody movies. However, what was even more shocking was that the scenes in the movie were clearly the room they stayed in! This hotel is undoubtedly a perverted paradise for killing travelers and making videotapes. So in the cold night, the only thing the couple had to face was their own survival problems.
