Kristen Stewart will star in the new political thriller "Against All Enemies", playing the short-haired goddess of the French New Wave, Jean Seberg. Jack O'Connell, Anthony Mackie, Margaret Qualley, and Colm Meaney starred, and Benedict Andrews ("Oona") directed it. It tells the story of the late 1960s, when Seberg sympathized with and supported the Black Panther Party (a left-wing black civil rights organization in the United States), had contacts with its members, and had feelings for civil rights activist Hakim Jamal (played by Mackie). She attracted the attention of the FBI, and a young agent (played by O'Connell) launched an investigation into her. Produced by Automatik Entertainment, Fred Berger (La La Land, The Hills), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Insidious 4, Midnight Escape), Kate Garwood, and Stephen Hopkins are producers, and the script was written by Joe Shrapnel & Anna Waterhouse (Frankie and Alice). Filming will start in the summer.
