The story takes place in the fictional city of Sora-saki, where there is a special agent organization called "Moon Shadow" composed of agile girls. Every night, the girls will shuttle through the corners of the city under the reflection of the moon, protecting the safety of the city and its citizens. The criminal organization "Wangliang" has been eyeing Sora-saki and has repeatedly invaded. They are the biggest and most difficult opponent of Moon Shadow. Yuan Tao (voiced by Anzai Yukari) is a sophomore in high school. She was originally ordinary, but she joined Moon Shadow by chance with her special abilities. There, she met the serious and rigorous Hanzomon Yuki (voiced by Numakura Aimi), the positive Sagami Kaede (voiced by Fujita Akane), and the unruly and eccentric Yachiyo Mikoto (voiced by Suzaki Aya).
