Joel McHale, the male lead of "Community", will lead this half-hour single-camera comedy set in the workplace on FOX. The show is jointly created by Bob Fisher and Rob Greenberg, the creators of "The Moodys", and Dan Sterling, the screenwriter of "The Queen". As the name suggests, the show will revolve around the daily work and life of a group of animal control officers. Everyone recognizes a fact in the complex work: animals are simple, but people are not. Joel will play "Frank" in the play, a stubborn and eccentric animal control officer who may not have been to college, but is still the most knowledgeable person in the room. As a former police officer, Frank tried to expose the corruption in his department at the time, but it eventually led to his dismissal. This may explain why he is so cynical and bad-tempered. In terms of understanding animals, Frank has shown extraordinary ability; but when facing his own kind... he may not be so proficient. "Heather" Vella Lovell of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" plays "Emily", a likable but occasionally a little slow and awkward animal control team leader. Although Emily occasionally feels overwhelmed at work, she is loved by her teammates. Ravi Patel plays "Amit Patel", who is also a member of the team; Amit is an overwhelmed family man who has taken on more family responsibilities than he expected. His partner has a completely different lifestyle from him and may be from a different planet.
