Centuries later, humanity has returned to the feudal era, and the strongest and cruelest have gradually gained power and wealth. In a place called "The Barren Land", seven hostile noble lords divide and rule, monopolizing all the necessities of daily life, and implementing iron-fisted rule with the assistance of their loyal army "Scissorhands". The status of "Scissorhands" is far higher than that of ordinary people, so they are willing to sacrifice their lives for their masters. Few "Scissorhands" can live past the age of 30, but Sunny (played by Daniel Wu) is not an ordinary "Scissorhand". He is proficient in martial arts and is feared, and soon becomes the chief "Scissorhand", the most trusted advisor and regent of the noble Quinn (played by Marton Csokas).
