"The American version of Poisoned" is adapted from the 2002 Korean movie of the same name starring Lee Byung-hun and Lee Mi-yeon, "Poisoned". A traffic accident caused Jessica's (Sarah Michelle Gellar) husband Ryan (Michael Landes) and brother-in-law Reiman (Lee Pace) to fall into a coma and were told that they were in danger of becoming a vegetable again. But after a few months, Reiman woke up first, which gave Jessica a glimmer of hope that her husband would recover as before. And Reiman actually told Jessica that he was her husband Ryan.
