Introduction
In 1878 (Meiji 11). After the Meiji Restoration, in order to deal with the criminals such as the rebellion of the samurai in Japan, most of them were sent to prison, but escapes from prison occurred from time to time. So the government built a prison called "Yumonchu" in the giant trees floating in Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, which was absolutely impossible to escape from, and sent all the serious criminals there.
