At the end of the Tang Dynasty, the royal family loved hunting. The fox tribe at the foot of Mount Li was disturbed by it, so they sent Qingfeng and Feiluan to form a hundred-year friendship with the royal family to ensure safety. Qingfeng was eager to make merit, so she accepted the order of the "war faction" of the fox tribe and entered the palace to assassinate the emperor. She learned that Feiluan was in love with the scholar Li Yuxi, so she kept helping them to connect and divert Feiluan's attention so that she could complete her assassination mission. The emperor was determined to eradicate the eunuch party, take back the imperial power and reorganize the government. Qing Feng finally decided to give up her own selfishness and stood firmly on the emperor's side. She repaid the emperor's kindness, safeguarded the fruits of victory the emperor had fought for, and worked hard to resolve the grievances between the fox clan and the royal family, thus avoiding a human catastrophe.
