Hasumi Yuichi (Ichihara Hayato) lives with his mother, stepfather and younger brother in a quiet town. He and his classmate Hoshino Shusuke (Osunari Shugo) are in the same kendo club, and the two become good friends. Hoshino was originally an excellent student, but was envied by his classmates. When a group of classmates came back from Okinawa during the summer vacation, Hoshino seemed to have changed.
