Takemoto, a student at the University of Fine Arts, lives with his senior Mayama and Morita, who has been held back several times, in a single apartment. Their life is quiet but fun. Their teacher, Mr. Hanamoto, introduces his cousin's daughter, Aku, to the three of them. Aku, who looks young, has amazing artistic expression. Takemoto and Morita both fall in love with her at first sight. Unspeakable love and friendship gradually spread among the three. On the other hand, Mayama falls in love with Ms. Rika, a friend of Mr. Hanamoto, but Rika is deeply trapped in the memory of her deceased husband and can't extricate herself. Yamada, who grew up with Mayama, often cries alone because of his unrequited love for Mayama despite his strong and cheerful personality. That summer, the air was filled with sweetness and bitterness, and the four-leaf clover swayed in the wind, waiting for the happy children to pick them.
