The series is a contemporary crime drama set in the charming London district of Chelsea. Although Max Arnold, who lives in a houseboat, was born in the sophisticated and wealthy Chelsea district, his low-key style is far from the elite exclusive Chelsea district. He lives on a houseboat at a distance from his neighbors. Max and his partner, Detective Priya Shamsie, solve a series of horrific murders and uncover the dark world behind Chelsea's iconic buildings. The bodies they encounter appear in some unlikely places, including a family-run Italian restaurant and a community garden center linked to football hooligans.
