Richie (Julian Dennison) is a little boy with a very bad character. No one wants to play with him, and he brings endless trouble to others. Finally, Richie was sent to a small village surrounded by mountains because of his bad deeds, where her sturdy aunt Paula (Rachel House) and her scarred uncle Heike (Sam Neill) who looks difficult to mess with lived. Although Richie showed great disgust for life here and wanted to escape repeatedly, Paula's care and love for Richie gradually melted the latter's inner ice. For the first time, Richie felt that being loved was such a warm thing, just like the warm water bag that his aunt prepared for him every day. However, the good times did not last long. His aunt died and Richie would be sent to the welfare home again.
