The story follows former heroin addict Daniel Leger as he gets involved in a drug deal that helps the wrong people for the wrong reasons. When the deal goes wrong, Daniel is thrown into a Thai prison and sentenced to 100 years in prison. As he tries to survive his incarceration in Bangkok, news of his conviction catches the attention of Globe and Mail reporter Victor Malarek, who decides to hunt down the shady undercover cop responsible for wrongly accusing Daniel.
