Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) was originally a motorcycle superstar. When he found out that his father had cancer, he signed a contract with the devil Mephisto. He transformed himself into a ghost rider and served the devil. Johnny, who obeyed the devil's demands, was a star-studded superstar during the day; at night, he wore a leather suit, his body turned into a skeleton, and a battle robe covered with spikes, driving a motorcycle to hunt down the most vicious people for the devil.
