The film tells the story of Michael McCrea, an impressionable teenager. Eighteen-year-old Michael lives with his grandfather Francis in an ordinary neighborhood in Dublin. Michael's life has changed dramatically since he was sentenced to three months in prison for helping his friend's brother hide drugs. In prison, Michael became friends with an old drug dealer and experienced all kinds of violence and coercion... This film attempts to explore the reasons for Michael's crime and show the great impact and changes that prison life has on a young man. From the production level, the film team interviewed many real prisoners from the Irish "Prison Transition Project" and combined them with realistic elements to make the prison life in the film closer to the real texture.
