In a dry well that has been closed for more than 30 years, the bodies of Takayama Tatsuji (Sanada Hiroyuki) and the long-lost Sadako (Iino Oriie) were found. According to forensic identification, Sadako died only 1 or 2 years ago, that is, she survived in the dry well for 30 years. In order to investigate the cause of death of her lover, Takayama's girlfriend Kono Mai (Nakatani Miki) looked for the whereabouts of Asakawa Reiko (Matsushima Nakako). She met Asakawa's junior Okazaki (Yanagi Yurei), and the two followed the clues of Asakawa's investigation of the "cursed videotape" all the way. In the process, the victims of the videotape continued to appear. The terrifying Sadako does not seem to have disappeared from the world, and her curse seems to be like an evil spirit... This film is adapted from the original work of Suzuki Koji and is the authentic sequel to the previous work "Midnight Bell".
