The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by American writer Gail Forman, which has been sold in 18 countries. Mia, a gifted classical music girl, and her family are involved in a serious car accident. In a coma, she suddenly has a soul that leaves her body and sees the future between life and death. In this trailer, Moretz reads the preface of the novel as a narration, while watching herself fall at the scene of the car accident, lying on the operating table, her boyfriend and companions rushing to the hospital, the nurses whispering in her ears, and she ponders how to make this difficult choice: to die with her parents, or to wake up and continue her life.
