The film tells the story of the Korean mountaineer Park Wuzhai who died in 2004 while climbing Mount Everest at an altitude of 8750m. In order to retrieve the remains of his companions and let them rest in peace, Um Hong-gil (played by Hwang Jung-min) led a group to Mount Everest and started a new expedition. On May 29, Um Hong-gil and his team lived up to expectations and found Park Wuzhai's body at 8700m. A grand burial ceremony was held on the top of the snow-capped roof of the world, and a monument was erected to commemorate him. When this incident was exposed, it also triggered a wave of emotion. Korean actor Hwang Jung-min plays the role of Um Hong-gil, the first Korean mountaineer in Asia to complete 14 8,000-meter climbers in Asia. The film will be produced by JKFilm, which has launched films such as "Haeundae", "Dancing Queen", and "Express Delivery". Director Kang Dae-kyu, who has shown his delicate camera skills through "Harmony", will direct again. The film will also be shot on location in snow-capped mountains in Nepal and other places to show a more realistic snow-capped mountain landscape.
