The story is set in Nishijima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which is known as one of the three famous brewing areas in Japan. It tells the story of Shiori Tachibana, an agricultural student who discovers the charm of Japanese sake, struggles in a historic brewery, and meets her first love. Shiori dreams of being able to train in a brewery and chooses a sake brewery in Hiroshima Prefecture as her internship site. There, she meets the son of the sake brewery owner who has no motivation, the bedridden sake brewery owner, the strict wine brewer, and Misaki, who is both a rice farmer and a sake brewery family. Shiori, who starts her internship, always encounters failure. At this time, the sake brewery owner suddenly passes away. When this old sake brewery faces a business crisis, she gradually develops a romantic relationship with the owner's son.
