In the 13th century, priests had begun to use the "Book of Solomon" to fight witches and demons. A hundred years later, the knight Bayman (Nicolas Cage) and his old partner Ferson (Ron Perlman), who became famous for their outstanding military exploits in the Crusades, were tired of the cruelty of war and returned home, but what they saw in the town was the plague.
