In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, the Jinyiwei and the Dongchang killed the prince's followers in order to support the succession of King Rui. Wudang regarded the prince as the orthodox, so they were willing to serve him. The commander-in-chief of the Jinyiwei, Murong Chong (played by Wu Yijiang), planned to provoke a dispute between Wudang and Mingyuexia, and sent his junior brother Qianhu Yue Mingke (played by Fan Shaohuang) to Mingyuexia to subdue the "Jade Rakshasa" to serve the court. The conflict between Wudang and Mingyuexia was on the verge of breaking out. But this "Jade Rakshasa" was actually Lian Nishang (played by Ma Su) pretending to be her master Ling Muhua. Every fifteenth day of the month, she would go crazy and kill innocent people.
