A Hong Kong girl (Zhu Zhiying) secretly rents her womb to a wealthy lady as a surrogate mother, at the cost of temporarily living a life of near-imprisonment. The wealthy lady suddenly changes her mind and asks the girl to have an abortion, but the girl wants to give birth to the child. The wealthy husband (Jacky Cheung), who has been kept in the dark, finds out who his sperm went to, and the girl's boyfriend, a lawyer (Che Yuanyuan) who is strategizing in the incident, makes the girl's fate even more complicated and unpredictable.
