Miyamoto (Takeshi Kaneshiro) is a "Returner" whose job is to sneak into the depths of the black market for the employer, steal large sums of money that cannot be traced, and deliver the money safely to the employer with extremely high efficiency. Miyamoto was originally an orphan. His childhood friend Kikuo was killed by a mysterious man, and Miyamoto was determined to find the murderer and take revenge. On the coast of Yokohama, Miyamoto was about to sneak into another underground world and met the murderer who killed his friend. When Miyamoto couldn't contain his excitement and started a life-and-death fight, he accidentally shot and injured an innocent girl from the future, Misato (Ann Suzuki). Misato survived the disaster and hired Miyamoto to complete a special mission for her. Together, they would save the world from danger within two days.
