Leibert (Hugh Jackman) is a down-and-out noble duke in the 19th century. At a blind date party arranged by his family, he accidentally broke into the time tunnel in order to track down a stranger, the mad scientist Stewart, and came to the 21st century more than 100 years later. Stewart's unexpected hospitalization made the duke face a strange environment with difficulty. By chance, he met Stewart's ex-girlfriend Kate (Meg Ryan) - an ambitious, independent and smart advertising woman. A series of things attracted the two to each other and wrote a romantic love song across time and space...
