The director is Stefan Rieck, who was shortlisted for the Golden Goblet Award at the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival with Double Sin. This new work has nothing to do with Pink Floyd's album The Dark Side of The Moon, but is an adaptation of the 2006 best-selling novel of the same name by Martin Suter, "the most successful contemporary Swiss writer". The protagonist Moritz Bredow, whose previous works such as Run Lola Run and The Death Experiment must be familiar to everyone. The story tells the story of a legal elite played by him, whose life gradually becomes disordered and develops on an uncontrollable track because of an adventure trip with poisonous mushrooms... The director is particularly good at creating atmosphere, with shaking shots and psychedelic perspectives, which make the audience and the protagonist fall into unknown fear together.
