In the distant Nordic snow country, there lives a carefree, beautiful and pure Princess Annika (voiced by Kelly Sheridan). She loves nature and likes skating, but the king (voiced by Russell Roberts) and the queen (voiced by Kathleen Barr) are very protective of her, fearing that their daughter will be hurt. Therefore, Annika can only sneak out of the palace occasionally to enjoy a short period of freedom and happiness.
