Boarding student Misaki Takahashi (voiced by Sakurai Takahiro) and great writer Usami Akihiko (voiced by Hanada Hikaru) continue the first part and continue their love story. At the instigation of Akihiko's editor Ms. Aikawa and the owner of Marukawa Bookstore, Misaki agreed to attend Akihiko's Kikukawa Award commemorative cocktail party. On the way, Misaki accidentally met Akihiko's brother Haruhiko (voiced by Toriumi Hirosuke). Teacher Bunny has a bad relationship with her family, and Misaki is caught in the middle.
