The play tells the love story between the forest ranger Han Xizhou (played by Huang Xiyan) and his old classmate Xu Nannan (played by Chen Siche). From the "misunderstanding" of the two in their school days to the reunion in adulthood, Wu Wen, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper played by Sun Xizhi, has been guarding the amnesiac Xu Nannan and gradually fell in love with her. However, as Xu Nannan went to the rain forest for an interview and reunited with Han Xizhou, Xu Nannan began to flash back to the painful past that she had forgotten after suffering psychological trauma in her school days. Wu Wen, who knew the truth, also began to fall into contradictions and entanglements. Does regaining memory mean happiness or misfortune for Xu Nannan?
