Introduction

Teenager Andrew (Dane DeHaan) is like most otakus, introverted, poorly eloquent, and has mild social phobia. The beatings and scoldings from his father and the serious illness of his mother made him wary of everything around him. He became a shooting madman hiding behind the camera, intoxicated in his own little world all day. In order to open up the situation for Andrew's future, his cousin Matt (Alex Russell) invited him to a campus party. During the party, at the suggestion of his cousin and friend Steve (Michael B. Jordan), the three of them went on a thrilling outdoor caving trip and accidentally gained the superpower of free manipulation of objects. This became a watershed in their lives-strong curiosity and desire to perform urged the three to constantly challenge the upper limit of their abilities, and Andrew's endless creativity made him a leader among his partners and a star at the party. Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. The increasing ability did not bring happiness. The unrestrained Andrew played more and more, and finally went on an irreversible road of destruction...
