Hacker intrusions with serious consequences occurred simultaneously in Hong Kong, China and Los Angeles, the United States. The Chinese government and the FBI decided to join forces to find the truth of the incident. After investigation, it was found that the hackers used remote access tools in the process of committing crimes, and the programmer was a mysterious man named Nicholas (Chris Hemsworth), who was a network expert and was now in prison. Chen Dawei (Wang Leehom) is the officer in charge of the case. He and his sister (Tang Wei) went to Los Angeles and found Nicholas's trace with the help of Agent Carol (Viola Davis).
