Yucheng Miju (voiced by Araki Kae) is an ordinary high school student. One day, she was reading a book in the library with her friend Hongo Yui (voiced by Touma Yumi). The two accidentally opened an ancient book called "The Book of the Four Gods of Heaven and Earth". A red light flashed, and the two were sucked into the book and traveled to an imaginary era. There, Miju's identity is no longer ordinary. She has transformed into the Suzaku Miko, and the task of the Suzaku Miko is to find the legendary Suzaku Seven Stars and summon Suzaku to fulfill her wish. As the journey unfolds, the Suzaku Seven Stars gradually appear, and as a shrine maiden, she has a deep relationship with the Gui Suzu (voiced by Midorikawa Hikaru). On the other hand, Xiao Wei also traveled to the same era as Miju, and she unexpectedly became the Qinglong Miko who opposed the Suzaku Miko, and she also wanted to find her own Qinglong Seven Stars. At the beginning, she was always timid and cowardly and was unwilling to be an enemy of Miju, but when she saw Miju and Gui Suzu getting closer and closer, jealousy slowly twisted her heart.
