The lively and cheerful Shirayuki (voiced by Hayami Saori) has beautiful and dazzling red hair. She has lived in the mountains since she was a child, which makes Shirayuki possess a keenness and vitality beyond ordinary people. What Shirayuki did not expect was that she would be forced to marry the lustful and stupid Prince Laji (voiced by Fukuyama Jun) as a concubine. The unruly Shirayuki vowed never to succumb to fate. After leaving a bunch of red hair, Shirayuki left her hometown on the way to the neighboring country. Shirayuki met the second prince of the Kingdom of Clarines, Chi (voiced by Ryota Oosaka), followed by Chi, two loyal servants Mumu (voiced by Kaori Nazuka) and Mitsuhide (voiced by Yuichiro Umehara). After learning Chi's true identity, Shirayuki decided to give up everything she had, follow Chi to his kingdom, assist Chi, and become his right-hand man.
