In 2013, an American archaeological team led by Dr. Mel Holden (Denis O'Hare) and his daughter Nora (Ashley Hinshaw) discovered a mysterious pyramid buried under the yellow sand in southern Cairo. Although Egypt is in the midst of riots and chaos, the documentary crew hosted by Suni (Christa Nicola) still ventured to the local area just to record the epoch-making moment. According to the situation on the scene, the pyramid is even older than all the pyramids that have been discovered. As usual, the shadows of various terrifying curses linger around the pyramid, and when the pyramid is opened, some locals are injured by poisonous gas. Because the equipment they carry is damaged for unknown reasons, Nora and the relevant staff decide to take the risk and enter this unknown pyramid.
