This film is the first time that director Seth MacFarlane has entered the big screen. He wrote and directed the film himself, and the teddy bear in the film is also voiced by him. When John was a child, he made a wish that his toy teddy bear could come alive and become his real friend. A miracle happened. Teddy (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) came to life and lived with John for more than 20 years. Now John (Mark Wahlberg) is not young anymore. He smokes, drinks and smokes marijuana with Teddy all day long, living a life of drunkenness and dream. Until he met the beautiful Laurie (Mila Kunis), he was determined to change himself. However, Teddy did not like John's new girlfriend Laurie, and always made trouble for Laurie everywhere, and even destroyed the relationship between John and Laurie. Faced with his old friend who has been with him for many years and his newly captured girlfriend, how should John deal with the relationship between the two? Can he find a balance?
