The film is adapted from the classic Hollywood love comedy of the same name. Gu Jia (played by Shu Qi) is the new editor-in-chief of a domestic fashion magazine and is ordered to go to Milan to attend the Fashion Week. An unexpected phone call made her give up her work and fly to London as soon as she landed. Because the man she once avoided but actually loved deeply in her heart, Lin Ran (played by Feng Shaofeng), is about to marry a young rich girl Xuan Xuan (played by Song Qian), and she wants to snatch the groom back before the wedding. On the plane to London, Gu Jia met the handsome man Nick (played by Feng Xiaoyue), and she kept making a fool of herself, which made Nick very embarrassed. After meeting, Lin Ran's bride-to-be Xuan Xuan treated her like a sister.
