In the deep mountains and old forests of Canada, "Wolverine" Logan (Hugh Jackman) who bears the pain of eternal life lives in seclusion. In a conflict with a hunter, he is helped by a Japanese woman named Yuki (Rila Fukushima). Yuki is a subordinate sent by Yashida, an old acquaintance of Logan during World War II. It seems that the old friend who is about to die is eager to see Logan again before death.
