The film is based on the novel of the same name by Antony Johnston, and tells the story of espionage before the end of the Cold War: In 1989, the situation in East Germany changed dramatically, and the Berlin Wall was facing the fate of demolition, but this was also the darkest moment, with various assassinations happening from time to time. An underground officer of the British MI6 was assassinated in Berlin. He had a list of spies brought back from East Germany, but the killer did not find it on him. An agent named Lorraine Broughton (played by Theron) took on the task of retrieving the list of spies. It was previously reported that directors Leitch and Stahelski will shoot a sequel to John Wick, and the leading actors including Keanu Reeves will return.
