"Detective Di Renjie 2" consists of three confusing, thrilling and bizarre stories: "Guanhe Doubt", "Snake Spirit" and "Bloody Jiangzhou". "Guanhe Doubt" takes place during the Wu Dynasty. The Khitan invaded the border and wars broke out. Wu Zetian (played by Lv Zhong) appointed Di Renjie (played by Liang Guanhua) as the general manager of the Hebei Road to investigate the reasons for the failure of the border war.
