McCall (Denzel Washington) has always lived incognito and secluded. Everyone thought he was dead. Only Susan (Melissa Leo) kept in touch with him. One day, Susan received a mission to go to Brussels to investigate the suicide of a CIA agent, and then lost contact. McCall instinctively realized that Susan was dead. In order to investigate the truth of Susan's death, McCall did not hesitate to return to the arena. He contacted his former partner Dave (Pedro Pascal), and then learned that Susan's death was inextricably linked to his former colleagues. Now they have all become freelance killers, and Susan is one of their targets. The origin of all the incidents is the suicide of the agent.
