"Crazy Rich Asians" is adapted from the globally popular novel "Crazy Rich Asians" by Singaporean writer Kevin Kwan. It tells the story of Rachel Chu (Constance Wu), an American-born Chinese economics professor, who attends her boyfriend Nick Yang (Henry Golding)'s friend's wedding and is surprised to find that her boyfriend is actually an Asian "bachelor". Rachel, who is still in shock, not only has to face the successive beauties around Nick, but also the complicated grievances behind her boyfriend, and the arrogant rich mother-in-law played by Michelle Yeoh who obstructs her in every way. When Rachel Chu strays into the world of Asian rich people surrounded by luxury cars, parties, jewelry, and luxury houses, love suddenly reveals a class gap. As a modern version of "educated Cinderella", can she fight this battle to defend love?
