Josh Lempport (Patrick Wilson), a high school teacher, and his wife Lana (Rose Byrne), a freelance musician, have a happy family of five. However, since they moved to their new home, panic and uneasiness have followed. Kelly, an infant daughter, often cries inexplicably, the second son Foster (Andrew Astor) is full of fear of the bedroom, and the eldest son Dalton (Ty Simpkins) falls into a long coma after a fright. After this, all kinds of strange and terrifying events happened one after another. The Lempport couple was overwhelmed and almost mentally collapsed. They finally decided to move out of this ominous place. But everything is not over yet. The demons that invaded them seem to follow the Lempport family to their new residence, and even threaten to occupy Dalton's body...
