Caowangba Village is a small village deep in the mountains of Zunyi County, Guizhou, which suffers from water shortage all year round. In order to change the poverty and water shortage in his hometown, the village party secretary Huang Dafa has led the whole village to dig a canal on the cliff since the 1960s.
