Eddie (Tom Hardy) is a journalist who is loved by the audience. He has been in love with his girlfriend Anne (Michelle Williams) for many years and they have a very good relationship with each other. Anne is a lawyer who took over the case of the Life Foundation. In his girlfriend's mailbox, Eddie discovered the unknown secret of the foundation's boss Drake (Riz Ahmed). For this reason, Eddie not only lost his job, but his girlfriend also left him. Later, Dr. Dora (Jenny Slate) of the Life Foundation found Eddie, hoping that Eddie could help her stop Drake's crazy crimes. In the laboratory of the Life Foundation, Eddie found evidence of Drake's human experiments, and was possessed by the alien life form Venom by mistake. After returning home, Eddie and Venom formed a symbiotic relationship, and they had to deal with waves of killers sent by Drake.
