The first season of HBO's new comedy series "The Saviors of the World" will premiere on HBO and HBO HD channels at 10:30 am on June 22 (Monday) and will be broadcast again at 10:30 pm. This epic black comedy series focuses on a geopolitical crisis and its impact on three completely different and desperate people, including Secretary of State Walter Larson, humble Foreign Affairs Officer Alex Talbot, and ace Navy fighter pilot Zeke Tilson. The three of them must find ways to solve the various problems surrounding them to avoid the outbreak of World War III. The Saviors of the World stars Jack Black, Tim Robbins, Pablo Schreiber, Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales, and Geoff Pierson. Jerry Weintraub, Roberto Benabib, and Jay Roach are executive producers, while Roberto Benabib and Kim Benabib are creative directors.
