Three stories that happened in Morocco, Mexico and Japan. Richard (Brad Pitt) and his wife Susan (Cate Blanchett) traveled to Morocco because of a marriage crisis. Susan was shot in the tour bus. In order to treat Susan, a car of American tourists had to stay in a small village in Morocco. The police also escalated the incident to a terrorist attack and launched an investigation. In fact, the truth was surprisingly simple. Richard and his wife were stranded in Morocco, which affected the children at home. In order to attend her son's wedding, the Mexican nanny had to let her nephew (Gael Garcia Bernal) drive her and the children. However, when they returned from Mexico, they encountered trouble. The police suspected that she kidnapped American children, and things began to get out of control. In Japan, the deaf-mute girl Chieko lived alone in a silent world. Her mother's suicide made it more difficult for her to communicate with her father. Due to her disability, she could not get the attention of the opposite sex, and her personality became more rebellious. So, she communicated with the world in her own way.
