Fat Cat, a mentally retarded adult who was sentenced to prison for committing a crime, was released on bail. Maggie, a social worker, was ordered to take care of Fat Cat. Maggie picked up Fat Cat from prison and took him to an outlying island to pay respect to his parents. Due to a traffic accident, the two were separated and Fat Cat wandered alone. Due to his simple and optimistic personality, he was well-liked by the villagers and resolved the misunderstanding between the old man and the young man next door. The three of them became friends and Fat Cat spent a period of time happily. Fat Cat participated in a village performance.
